I am Sarah Raftery, manicurist, and owner of Arch, where sophistication meets self-care in a sanctuary created to offer something different to the typical high street nail bar. Each appointment allows time for you to unwind and experience a truly revolutionary manicure experience, incorporating luxury skincare products for the ultimate high-end finish.
With a profound dedication to the art of nail health and rehabilitation, I have undertaken extensive training over the past 4 years, including with industry masters Marina Dobyk, Ela Loszczyk, Isabel May, and brand leaders Bio Sculpture. I have also attended perfection masterclasses with Harriet Westmoreland, Samantha Cox (@thedailynail) and Alexandra Teleki (@thehotblend).
All of the brands I stock, and use are ones I have trained with or, where this is not available, have researched extensively and trialled on myself to ensure safety and efficacy. I am experienced in supporting clients who have previously suffered damage and allergies, due to poor quality products or practices, and I hold a range of HEMA and IBOA free gel for clients with sensitivities.
Since 2023 I have been a member of Studio 74, a community membership programme run by industry expert and owner of DryBy London, Krisztina Van Der Boom. During this time I met Marian Newman, regarded as one of the top nail practitioners in the world, she was the first ever celebrity nail artist and now leads the way on working to regulate the nail industry. This experience gave me an even greater knowledge of best practices and education, which helped shape my service offer today. I pride myself on striving for perfection whilst always learning, developing my knowledge and education to give my clients the best there is to offer.
Arch provides a full range of gel services, soft (soak off) gel which delivers impeccable enduring manicures without compromising the integrity of the natural nails, a large range of nude builder gels (BIAB – the acronym for Builder in a Bottle) and hard gel for those seeking additional strength and durability, ensuring a bespoke solution tailored to individual needs.
